The Backyard Bärs Festival (now called Backyard Rock, www.backyardrock.se), taking place every summer in Kiruna in northern Sweden, is an event for Metal & Punk music. In July 2017 it took place at the premises of the Kiruna Midnight Cruisers motor club. It is at the same time as the Kirunafestivalen, the city´s more moderate summer festival in the city centre.
